ALWAYS LOOKING FOR NEW HINTS AND IDEA'S .....

Now living in Texas with Celena and Jeff Porter |
Welcome to the site dedicated to the Netherland Dwarf Show Rabbit. What you read on this site is information I have gathered
from other Netherland Dwarf Breeders that are listed on our breeders page. They have taken the time to write articles, take
pictures to share with you or are just willing to have their e-mail address listed for you to e-mail them with questions.
We are all out to do one thing, promote our breed and help new breeders get a good start. Educating our breeders is one of
the most important things we can do.
I hope as you read the information on this web site you keep an open mind and relize everyone has his or her opinion and
with rabbit breeding and showing there really is not one right or wrong way. We all learn from our mistakes and trial and
error. What might work for one will not work for the other, and every line we work with matures a little different, so with
that in mind I hope you enjoy what you read and the pictures and find something of interest on the site and maybe even learn
something new.

Are you thinking about getting into to the wonderful world of showing rabbits? What about if you are already into the showing
end and have your first Netherland Dwarf or two and are interested in starting a breeding program but not sure how to get
started. Have questions need answers?
I hope to put together over some time a web page that will help answer those kind of questions and more in normal terms
that everyone can understand. Like culling questions, kindling questions, herd buck questions, some color questions and more.
I to am learning more and more right along while I put together this site, but hope to work with breeders that have been doing
this longer than I have and get some imput so we always have a site to look back onto if we need some answers. I know when
I was first starting out I wished I would have had a place to turn to. Luckly I had a few good breeders that I could call,
but I did not have the internet at that time so I had high phone bills since they did not live close, these days we have the
internet that we can look things up on and contact those that might be able to help us.
So hope you find your answer and if not I will put together a page with breeders names and e-mail address that might be
able to help you out.
